I've only used it once at the beach so far, it was wonderful. Ice lasted a long time and being able to carry it on your shoulder with the strap saved me two trips back to the car.More > < Less

Easy and stay cool all-day

This product is very easy to use and carry around. I used this on our staycation a month ago at beach. This product kept my drinks cool fornks cool for hours in the back of my trunk. No water leakage and very light weight.

The product is easy to clean and carry around instead of lugging a heavy cooler.

I recommend this product and order the bigger size. I like the smaller one but you can always find a use for the bigger size.

Great product

The day my Ice Mule arrived I used it and have used is frequently ever since. I love the compactness and portability of it. The Ice Mule is comfortable to carry and I dont need someone to grab the handle on the other side.
I no longer have to carry around a big rectangular box cooler nor do I have to buy more ice than I need just to fill the void of a bigger cooler. I will take this cooler everywhere I go...
I absolutely love it!!!!!

After a week on the beach I love my Mule

7/29/2014 by Bob B.

Just came back from using my medium Classic a week at Hilton Head Island. I'm used to lugging my hard sided cooler to the Jersey shore but since I flew to Hilton Head taking a cooler was not an option. So nice to pack this thing down into it's sack and throw in my backpack to take on the plane. It was Hot and Humid on the beach all week, but the Mule performed as expected which was awesome. Great to throw 10 water bottles in and some small lunch items. Didn't even need ice just froze a few of the water bottles. Was perfect to throw over a shoulder for our morning bike rides to the beach. I've only used it for a week, but so far I am very happy with my purchase. This product is not cheap but I do not mind paying a little extra for good quality products.More > < Less

It's not your father's Playmate (which is a good thing)!

Used this on our recent trip to Cape Cod; both in the car and at the beach. Performed very well. Easy to inflate too much on first use so read the instructions.More > < Less

IceMule - Soft-Sided Cooler

About IceMule

On Ice

The next time you're preparing for an outdoor adventure, pack your food and drinks in the IceMule, a portable, soft-sided, ice bag with all the cooling and insulating properties of a hard cooler, but none of the bulk. Designed to sling over your shoulder for handsfree carrying, it’s made with no seams and is completely waterproof.

IceMule was created by Virginian and avid outdoorsman, James Collie. His inspiration came on a mountain hike, when he lined a daypack with trash bags and loaded it with drinks and ice. It seemed like a great idea at the time, until the plastic ripped and icy water flooded down his back. Fourteen prototypes later, The IceMule's patented double layer shell and insulating foam keep ice frozen for up to 24 hours. Tested against a standard cooler, the IceMule was 16 degrees colder for more than five hours longer.

Fill it, roll it and securely fasten with buckle clips. A padded strap makes it comfortable to wear on long hauls, and it easily collapses and stores in its own sack. Whether you're camping, hiking, boating, or just hanging at the beach, an IceMule Cooler is one super-cool piece of gear.
