It did not work for me

9/2/2015 by Melanie

It is a little bigger than I thought and and it heavier without filling the ice. I am petite and wanted something small. this is large like a 22 inch suitcase.More > < Less

Unfortunately had to return. Love the idea but I have moderate arthritis in my hands and this was difficult to use due to the stiffness of the product.More > < Less

Not totally waterproof and ice melted in a short period of time

7/18/2014 by Rhonda

I ordered the ice mule because it is supposed to be leak proof. I packed it for an evening boat ride. It sat closed for less than two hours before the ride. The ice had melted substantially . I was not happy with that but when we got home, the bottom was wet. I dried the cooler off and came back to see if it was from the ride. The bottom was wet again. It was not sopping wet, it appears that it is not condensation proof. I am glad I bought just one.I was going to buy them for my boating friends, but the product is not the great gift idea I was hoping to buy.More > < Less

For Drinks Only

7/18/2014 by Jennifer

The cooler was more cumbersome than I expected. I was disappointed, bought it for the beach and can't put lunches in it, just cans (or bottles), sandwiches and fruit get squished. Having said that, it did keep the drinks cold (ice melted, probably my fault). It's also hard to see what's in it when it is packed. Sorry to say I wouldn't recommend this cooler.More > < Less

IceMule - Soft-Sided Cooler

About IceMule

On Ice

The next time you're preparing for an outdoor adventure, pack your food and drinks in the IceMule, a portable, soft-sided, ice bag with all the cooling and insulating properties of a hard cooler, but none of the bulk. Designed to sling over your shoulder for handsfree carrying, it’s made with no seams and is completely waterproof.

IceMule was created by Virginian and avid outdoorsman, James Collie. His inspiration came on a mountain hike, when he lined a daypack with trash bags and loaded it with drinks and ice. It seemed like a great idea at the time, until the plastic ripped and icy water flooded down his back. Fourteen prototypes later, The IceMule's patented double layer shell and insulating foam keep ice frozen for up to 24 hours. Tested against a standard cooler, the IceMule was 16 degrees colder for more than five hours longer.

Fill it, roll it and securely fasten with buckle clips. A padded strap makes it comfortable to wear on long hauls, and it easily collapses and stores in its own sack. Whether you're camping, hiking, boating, or just hanging at the beach, an IceMule Cooler is one super-cool piece of gear.
