great for tight neck and shoulders

perfect for cold winter nights to relax

It works!

This massager works just as promised. The massage is strong, and the pressure and motion really do relax the tense muscles in my neck, back, and shoulder. A great product!More > < Less

Great item!

I purchased the massager for my husband as a Christmas gift. He gets stress headaches that start in his shoulder and then move up into his head. He actually was feeling a headache coming on 2 days prior to Christmas. I gave him this gift early and he was able to ward off his oncoming headache by using this massager. Fabulous find! He uses it on almost a daily basis to relax his shoulder muscles.More > < Less

Neck & Shoulder Massager

20 minutes every evening greatly reduces my neck pain (arthritis). Don't notice the heat. I recommend it for pain.

Dissapointed! Expensive!

Given how many low price neck massagers are on the market, I did not understand the $120. price for this. The product illustration and notes indicated a kneading type massage action. This unit has a smaller, more simple, and less therapeutic action. The two massage heads are too far apart to be effective for me. I am 100 lbs., and even my light body weight can stop the massage heads when leaning my hip into it.

I did not like the 20 minute shut off. The on/off button is very stiff and hard to use.

I am still going to try other neck massagers in search of a rolling kneading. I liked the design, overall, but expected more accurate product description and a better product to justify the $120. price. There are many other choices from $40 to $80. I feel misled and had a higher expectation of any product from Grommet.

Please let me know if I can help you find a more effective neck massager to be sold by your company. Your on line product line image has appeared dynamic and exciting. Because of this experience, I now have less trust in the trustworthiness and excellence of products you sell.

About Expain

All The Feels

Expain co-founders and brothers Thomas and Einar-Andre Jakobsen were inspired by their father Vidar’s work in a biomechanics lab to create an at-home, accessible solution to easing away muscle pain. Leaning on Vidar’s expertise (he is also a co-founder), the Jakobsens created a pillow-shaped back massager and a handheld neck and shoulder massager to help deliver relief.

The massagers do just that and in spades. We tried them out and really liked how they felt and how easy each one is to use. Both massagers are cordless and rechargeable and have soothing heat. We also appreciate the Nordic design that influenced the massagers’ looks. Streamlined with subdued colors, both look good enough to keep out in your living room—perhaps reminding you to treat muscles to a massage more often.
