Great look and great functionality!

11/2/2017 by Lawrence Brown

I bought my Kamsah set about a month ago, and I am still loving how two-in-one this product is. It is a really well designed ornament that sits on my counter top next to other artistic pieces, and then doubles up as a dipping plate so well. A really great buy!!!More > < Less

Beautifully made

5/14/2019 by John

My wife really likes this set. It has special meaning since our trip to Morocco last year. The pieces are nicely made and the colors are striking. My one "issue" is with the size. I got the small set, since the big set would be too big for our purposes. The small set is a tiny bit too small. It's like we needed a medium size set.More > < Less

Wish I had gotten the larger size

4/21/2019 by Amy

This was smaller than I was expecting. It arrived very well packaged and is a very pretty dish set. I might have sprung for the larger one, had I noticed the measurements and realized how small it was going to be.More > < Less

Great Gift

3/14/2019 by Jane

This makes a great gift. I was disappointed that there was no information in the package that explains where this dish comes from and who benefits from purchasing it. It would have been good information for the recipient to have.More > < Less

About Kamsah

Ceramic Tradition

The unique serving pieces from Kamsah—like their colorful hamsa dish—are handmade in Nabeul, Tunisia. This area is known as the Mediterranean’s ceramics center, with a history that dates back centuries.

To support this age-old craft, Kamsah pays the local women who make each piece a fair wage. And they give 10% of their proceeds to organizations benefiting those artisans. Everything is beautiful and meaningful, from the wave mug and coaster set to the eye-catching sun and hamsa dipping sets (made up of several small dishes that create the hamsa hand). It’s all safe for the dishwasher, microwave, and freezer, and is PTFE- and lead-free, too.

We appreciate Kamsah’s help in ensuring the artists and their tradition of craftsmanship continue to thrive. And we think it’s fitting the name Kamsah comes from the "hamsa" symbol, which stands for peace, protection, and prosperity.
