No-Drip Iced Drinks

If you love your daily iced coffee or tea but can’t handle—literally—all of the drippy-ness, an iced beverage sleeve is the answer. Java Sok keeps condensation from icy drinks in check, and off of your hands and surfaces. It’s made from stretchy neoprene that hugs to-go cups tightly, and seals in moisture. Now you can ditch your usual hacks for combatting drips, like layers of napkins or the cup-in-a-cup method. Founder David Laks and his wife are year-round iced coffee drinkers. But when David couldn’t find koozies that fit their usual takeout cups, he created his own. He made sure to create them in sizes that fit pretty much any cold to-go cup out there, too. With Java Sok in place, you don’t even need a coaster, and we say cheers (with your beverage of choice) to that.

    Congrats on the launch...I LOVE my DD koozies, so can you help me better understand why and how you consider yours to be superior? I certainly can be convinced if you have built a better mousetrap...or in this case, condensation-trap!

    @david Hi! Thanks for checking in!

    We've spent a bit of time working with different thicknesses of materials, looser or tighter stitching, thicker or thinner bottoms, and feel we have gotten just the right balance of material to fee comfortable in your hands, keep you drinks colder longer, and maintain their shape and style in the long run. If you are a ddkooies user, you are actually a good example of our process. Those were our first products and you might notice them to be just slightly lighter then our current Java Sok.

    @Claudia Hi, that's a good and frequent question.

    The answer is yes. They do fit, and actually make the cup nice and snug. I keep a second one in the car and use it in the empty cup holder to hold my cell phone, pens, change, etc and keep them from rattling around.Hope that helps!

    @Bridgette Hi, thank you for your good wishes!

    Our medium size fits the Starbucks Iced Venti. The cup is 24 - 26 oz which is the same size as a DD medium. Our medium sized Java Sok is made for both. You will love the fit!

    Our large for reference fits the DD 32 oz large and the Starbucks Iced Trenta.

    @kim Hi,

    I get that a lot. The medium will work nicely on a DD XL hot coffee, and the small can be used on a DD Large hot coffee. They do not fit Starbucks hot cups. They key is to look at the cup sizes. The large Java Sok is for a 32 oz cup (very large, usually iced), the medium is for a 24oz cup, and the small fits 16 - 18 oz cups.

  • David

    6/28/2016 12:19 PM

    @Vicki Hi,

    Good question. Most water bottles are thinner than the iced coffee cups these are made for. Since the Contigo is 24oz, I would try the medium if anything. It will probably come about 2/3 of the way up the bottle and may be slightly looser on top than on a coffee cup due to the taper of the sleeve (wider on top than on the bottom).

    @Christine Hi, and both good questions!

    I do make the large pink and we just had a run on them. They will be back in stock within a few weeks. Please do check back.

    We have been seeking the right manufacturer in the US and have not found them as of yet, however it is our goal to move production to a domestic facility when we do.

    Have these been treated so they won't smell from being water logged? You know that funky smell you get from something that is wet all the time once it finally dries out.

    @Kim Hi,

    I haven't had them smell at all. They are not specifically treated with anything but they are fabric coated and the materials are all fast drying. I routinely wash mine in the kitchen sink with a little dish soap and warm water and it is always dry in an hour or so with no residual smell.
