Collapsible Strainer and Steamer

Add to Wishlist

This collapsible strainer’s metal leaves fan out to form a rounded strainer or steamer. When you’re done, it folds down to a tenth of its size. RMDLO has all the perks of high-grade strainer/steamer (including heat-resistant handles and an antibacterial drainage system). But once you store the slim sheet in a drawer or hang it, you’d never guess it’s a strainer.

Sturdy, effective, stores well

This strainer is perfect for my needs. I wanted a stainless steel strainer, but I didn't want another bulky thing in my cupboards. This strainer is a little stiff to pull into shape, and compress; I think that is necessary for it to be as sturdy as it is in use.More > < Less

Nice quality, compact (will fit in drawer)
Bought this as gift for my daughter who has limited kitchen storage

What a great idea. First I thought couldn't be big enough for a large serving of pasta ,boy was I wrong. Then I thought but it can't stand up but it does. Perfect for small kitchens or RV's lay it flat or hang it.More > < Less

saves space and works great!

I tried using a collapsible silicone colander for a while, but water really didn't drain out of it very well. This is tons better. I use it in the sink with the Staybowlizer. It's very versatile. It could be bigger, but it's been roomy enough for most foods I've prepared.More > < Less

Bought this for in our rv, fits nicely in a drawer and doesn't take up the room a normal colander would. Also cleans up easily.

This strainer folds slimmer than a deck of cards.

Slim Strainer

This collapsible strainer opens up like a colander, then folds down to a tenth of its original size to store.

Maker Ran Merkazy’s fascination with origami and geometry really shines through in RMDLO’s inventive, minimalist design.

Its flexible metal panels transform into a rounded strainer with BPA-free, heat-resistant handles and a built-in antibacterial drainage system. It also doubles as a steamer that fits snugly in most pots.

Like the armadillo it was modeled after, this strainer is tough. When you’re done, its metal armor collapses into a sheet that fits in a drawer.
