Negg makes boiling eggs fun again!

by

I challenged my wife to a (wo)man vs. machine contest with my new Negg to see who could peel a half dozen hard-boiled eggs faster. She barely beat me, but I dropped the Negg 30 seconds into the contest and lost valuable time. So moral victory for the machine. The Negg is simple, fast and fun and it really works. Easy to clean and store. And the convenience of hard-boiled eggs, well, they cannot be beaten. (No literally, you cannot beat a hard-boiled egg...). Five stars!More > < Less

No more ugly deviled eggs

by

After watching the video, I took a chance and bought one Negg for myself and several as gifts. I don't regret it. I followed the enclosed egg prep instructions the first time and got mixed results; it was mostly successful but with a few casualties. The second time I boiled/cooled the eggs the way that I have for over 30 years and it worked perfectly. Placed eggs in cold water, brought to a boil and timed them from start of boil. Poured off hot water and refilled with cold several times (didn't have any ice to spare). Shelled eggs when they felt room temp. After about 8 shakes in Negg the shells were peeling off on their own. This is a wonderful little gadget. Don't give up if you hit a snag the first few times. Practice makes for easy, quick, perfectly shelled eggs.More > < Less

About The Negg

Eggcellent Peeler

Peel an egg without pulling your hair out.

Cold water and some shaking is all it takes for this hardboiled egg peeler to work. It’s a Made in the USA kitchen hero that conquers a dreaded chore sleekly.

Maker Bonnie Tyler signed up to bring deviled eggs to a party and—after a failed attempt at peeling—showed up with a bag of potato chips instead. After some prototyping and research at her local library, she cracked a solution.

Bonnie combined the elements of industrial peeling (i.e., vibration, movement, and water) to create something small, portable, and easy to use at home. That’s how The Negg was hatched. She even managed to get it manufactured in Connecticut, her own backyard.

Now you can de-shell your eggs with just cold water and a little bit of effort.
