Thought for car, using every day

I ordered this harness for her car seat, as it sounded more secure, but I never brought it down to leave in the car. The clasps are a little tricky I guess but I have jewelry that has the same concept, so it wasn’t hard for me.

Adjusted it fits snugly but not tightly. My Sophie is 20 lbs and I got her the small and it fits perfectly. The bottom straps are not right behind and under the front legs so no irritation even if wearing it all day. That has been a problem with other harnesses. I usually use the front clip, using the back clip for in the car. That is especially handy when her service vest is over the harness.

Great product

We are teaching our Golden Retriever puppy to ride in the car, and this is a wonderful product. He sits up or lays down in the seat, but can't wander. We are hoping a size large can be available when he outgrows this one. We consider this product a permanent fixture in the car.More > < Less

Great Harness!

Great Harness! FITS WELL! Gotta see how Sassy likes it!!! Just gotta see if it is too heavy for my little terrier/poodle rescue dog, Sassy. Otherwise, dog, Sassy.

Otherwise, I love the look, too!

the best!

Absolutely and essential item to any pet owner, this harness has come in handy on many occasions… Besides being a seatbelt. The only complaint I have about it is where the harness snaps onto the strap on the dogs underside, it un snaps very easily.More > < Less

Very Well Made Easy to Use Harness

Once we got the harness sized for our 10 month old Lab Brandi and figured out the clasp to close the belly part we are very happy with this harness. It is very well made and appears comfortable for her. The seatbelt clasp is great and she travels safely in the back seat.More > < Less

Kurgo - Pet Travel Gear

About Kurgo

Paws up

Brothers Kitter and Gordie Spater of Massachusetts love their dogs and wouldn’t dream of taking a road trip without their four legged friends along for the ride. But when Kitter adopted an energetic 70 lb. pooch named Zelda, car rides took a turn for the rambunctious and the idea to create safe, affordable pet travel solutions was born.

The Kurgo Wander Hammock is designed to keep your canine co-pilot comfortably cradled in the back seat out of harm's way. It also doubles as a seat cover to protect your car from dirty paws. No more skidding onto the floor when the car stops short.

For those looking for even more security, there’s the Tru-Fit Enhanced Strength Harness. This crash-tested product is like a seat belt for your dog and can be used alone or in conjunction with the Wander Hammock. In the event of an accident, having your pup buckled up can lower the risk of injury to passengers of both the human and canine variety.

The car isn’t the only place that Kurgo products come in handy. Take the Quantum Leash, for example. Fully extended, it is 6 feet long, but transforms into a 3 foot training leash with the simple click of a carabineer. The Quantum can be worn around your waist or positioned across your shoulders for hands-free convenience, and can even be turned into a double dog walker. The padded handle is comfortable any which way you use it.

By foot or by car, our testers give Kurgo four paws up.
