I ordered this shirt for my daughter's shower as a unique gift. Within a week, I had ordered another. The reason I am on this site writing this review is because I keep returning to see if they have her size in purple!! She LIVES in these!!More > < Less

I ordered this for my daughter who just had her second child. She lives in it and raves about it. She loved it so much I had to get her a second one. Since then, I have two other daughters who are expecting and I ordered one for each of them.. I know they will love the soothing shirt.More > < Less

This shirt is great! I have worn it constantly and it's much cooler than my standard moby wrap! Baby loves it too!

Well worth it

Love it! I thought it was pricey but it's definitely worth it. Only wish I had bought it sooner since there is a 15lb limit and my baby is already 11lbs at 6 weeks. If I had to do it over again I would buy two so I could wash one and wear the other. This is a staple, I would like to wear one everyday because it's so convenient. It's easier and more simple than a wrap! Fabric of lalabu is breathable, washes well, and taut enough to be supportive. I love that it's sleeveless because it can get rather warm with the baby close and I can easily pair with a nursing cover or jacket/coat when needed. I've even been able to zip my jacket up around the pouch outside in the cold. It's great around the house but it makes going out easier with minimal packing. I only need this shirt and a diaper/wipe wristlet since I'm nursing and can skip the bottles and diaper bag. I get to keep my lil guy close and not have to worry about lugging the car seat either and that's a huge plus!More > < Less

Lalabu - Baby Soothing Shirt

About Lalabu

For a newborn, there’s nothing more soothing than being held. But constantly holding your baby can put a strain on your body and figuring out how to correctly swaddle your little one in most slings can be confusing at the best of times—never mind if you’re a sleep deprived new parent.

Meet the Lalabu Soothe Shirt. It’s a stylish top for mom, a cozy pouch for baby, and a nursing bra all in one. The Dad Shirt offers similar function and an easy way for new dads to bond with their babies. Manufactured in the USA from imported fabrics, Lalabu Shirts provide all the intimacy of a wrap without the complexity.

Company founders Keri and Brian Fosse credit their creation to a mom named Lalabu who they met on a trip to Africa. Lalabu introduced them to an easy-to-use, hands-free baby wrap native to the region. Upon returning home, Keri and Brian realized that the African style of wrap was unique in its design and set out to create an American version. In addition to naming their company after the woman who inspired it, Keri and Brian donate one dollar of each sale to African women through a non-profit organization called KIVA.

Lalabu Shirts are easy to get your infant in and out of, can double as a nursing bra for women, and looks like a shirt you’d wear even if you weren’t a new parent.
