Glow Golf Balls

Corky Newcomb has spent over 30 years developing glow in the dark golf balls that perform as well as traditional ones. He’s finally achieved the perfect balance with Lite4Nite. The illuminated golf balls get their glow from an impregnated UV-activated pigment. It’s triggered by a UV-flashlight that gets the balls glowing in just a few seconds. And the balls have been tested to drive 400 yards, so there’s no sacrifice to their performance. The glowing effect lasts for around 15 minutes, and the pigment won’t wear off over time. Corky’s years of hard work makes it easy for golfers to keep an eye on the ball when squeezing in an extra-early (or late) round.

Quick Questions

Could you place these balls in the sun to charge because the sun also emits UV light, or would that not work? Do you have to use the UV light provided?

You can put the balls in the sun to charge but there is no sun at night, at twilight, or on cloudy, rainy days so you need the UV light charger.

What makes a golf ball good and why are these considered high quality in comparison to other glow in the dark golf balls?

Lite4Nite balls perform exactly like the best balls made. See pros' testimonials on the Lite4Nite website. Lite4Nites can be driven 400 yards. No other lighted golf balls can be driven that far. Chinese glow balls use lightsticks or LEDs and batteries that break golf clubs. Light sticks and batteries have a short life span. They cannot be hit nearly as far because there is no elastic energy core inside those balls. Lite4Nite has been in the lighted golf ball business since 1985 and have tested every lighted golf ball that has ever been made.

Do these balls become less effective at being illuminated over time?

The pigment is impregnated into the ball and is not on the outside of the ball so hitting the balls does not affect it.
