Steel Cables

Logiix builds tough (and extra-long) charging cables using special coil technology to minimize pressure where cables usually fray. Their five-foot-long cable has a steel exoskeleton that doubles as protective armor from the daily wear and tear, and there’s a ten-foot-long version, too, so you can comfortably use your device, even if you’re far away from the outlet. (Think: sitting on the couch, lying in bed, or even from the backseat of a car). Designed to last and also stay untangled, these cables survive the day-to-day gracefully.

Would I be able to use this with my Kindle? And would I need a USB-C or a Micro-USB? Thanks

I'd like to ask about the connecting ends. Most of the time, the cable seems to be ok, but where you connect to the phone/tablet becomes loose and fails to stay tight... leaving one to prop things under it, or use some other sort of tether or object to help it stay put. Can you share how long you think these will last?
