Mist, Jet, Shower

Aquabot turns an ordinary water bottle into a spray water bottle with a hose, mister, and shower all in one. It’s ideal for camping or hiking, and great to have around the house or just about anywhere else, too. Aquabot provides three types of spray—mist, jet, and shower. Each setting has a bunch of uses, both practical and fun. Use the mist to cool off at the beach or during a workout. The shower setting can be used for just about anything, like washing sticky hands (on grown-ups, kids, and pets) or drinking right from the nozzle. The powerful, 25-foot jet will crush the competition during a water fight, and get gunk off cars, boats, or whatever else could use a hosing off. Aquabot is BPA-free and even works upside-down. It comes with its own bottle but fits most wide-mouthed water bottles including Nalgene(R) and CamelBak(R) brands as well. Stay hydrated, cool, and clean (and secure your place as Water Fight Champion) with Aquabot.

I use a spray bottle of plain water to train dogs out of bad behavior. My new little rescue dog barks at the fence - will this bottle spray a fine-enough mist to not hurt her, but still reach her from a distance of around 12 feet?

@Lyn None of the spray patterns would hurt your dog or any dog. You can dial in the nozzle cap from any pattern between mist to full stream. There is definitely a pattern that will work for you.

@Nick Hey, Nick. Excellent idea. Can you be more clear as to why this won't work with stainless steel bottles? Do you have plans for a version that will?

  • Nick
    Nick – Special Guest
    7/28/2015 1:34 PM

@Scott The threads on metal bottles do not have the same measurements as on the plastic bottles mentioned above. Even if you could get the top to seat on a metal bottle it is not safe and could pop off.

We will be rolling out some cool accessories for your Aquabot first and then we will look into expanding Aquabot's reach to fit other containers, including metal.

    7/28/2015 1:22 PM

@Heather The bottles are dishwasher safe when kept away from the heating element. The top can be easily cleaned by putting soapy water in the bottle and spraying out the water. You can also dry out the top by blowing air through the bottle instead of water.

Additionally, Aquabot is built to be easily disassembled for maintenance.

  • Nick

    7/28/2015 4:34 PM

@Kevin The seal is great. The Grommet shot that video, but it looks to me like the nozzle cap was too loose. In mist mode, the nozzle cap is twisted clockwise until it stops. You only need to twist in 1/4 - 1/2 turn counterclockwise to get full stream. Continuing twisting counterclockwise will eventually result in water coming out from behind the nozzle cap. It's by design and not a defect.

Hi Kevin, it holds up very well! We actually just tested out the jet setting with no problems. You only experience leaking if the tip is about to be completely unscrewed for the shower setting. But you can reach the jet setting before that point. Essentially, you have to try and make it leak.
