Hello everyone! I'm proud to introduce Luxe Spinning Makeup Brush Cleaner to The Grommet. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have!
-
There is something else out there like this selling for $29.99 on Best Central Shop..is that one a knock off?
-
@Peggy Yes, we are aware of some cheap battery powered knockoff in the market, which usually stops working after several uses, the luxe is built with a 3 steps motor and hand-blown glass bowl made to last a lifetime
-
hmmmmmm....an ad for this just popped up on my Facebook page from All Beauty advertising this for $29.99

Hi @Betina yes there are some cheap battery powered knockoff in the market, cheaply
made which usually stops working after several uses, the luxe is built with a 3 steps motor and hand-blown glass bowl made to last a lifetime -
Do you not rinse with water after cleaning? I do but maybe that is just because of the cleaner I use. Is that step not necessary with the Luxe cleaning solution? As for the device itself-- well, anything that makes the task of cleaning makeup brushes easier is tops in my world!! Excited to try this out!
-
@Sandra You don't have to change the water after use of one brush but after several uses, you should change the water,
Thanks ! for your support! -
@Lamden So I think my question wasn't very clear, sorry about that. I was wondering if you rinse the makeup brush with clean water after cleaning in the solution. I see that you can use other types of soaps/cleaning solutions and I really like the cleaning solution that I currently use but I don't want soap build-up on my brushes either. Thinking this through though, I suppose I could do a "rinse cycle" with the spinning tool in clean water.
-
@Sandra I see what your saying yes, sure you could do a "rinse cycle" with the Luxe in just clean water after it was cleaned with your preferred soap.
-
@Sandra No not after every each use,
-
I purchased this product through Kickstarter and love it. My brushes have never been so clean, so often.
Can you help me with a few minor issues I'm having? First, the rubber holders eventually slide off the spinning handle while in use. Do you have any tips to keep this from happening? Second, the brushes sometimes spin out of balance.... even when they are on straight and are a balanced brush..... any other ideas? -
@Heather, first of all, i need thank you for your support on Kickstarter,
Try using it on the middle speed, if its a large (heavy) brush it could sometimes slide off,
and the same is for if the balance is not even, (you could also try to use it in a larger container so that you have a problem of spin out of balance)
Thanks !!!
