Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles

Puzzle Me

This unconventional, heirloom-quality wooden puzzle will be entertaining your family for years to come.

Handcrafted in the USA from premium Birchwood—this isn’t just an ordinary puzzle. First, the wooden pieces are made with a Giclee printing process that has a glossy, high-resolution finish that’ll last for generations. Each
piece feels well crafted and durable—unlike the cardboard puzzles you may be used to.

And besides the standard-shaped jigsaw pieces, there are more playful shapes that are surprising and fun to look at—anything from dogs to silhouettes of dancers.

To document your puzzle-solving pursuits, each Zen Design puzzle comes with a small booklet to log who has completed the puzzle over the years. Enjoy this new, fun family tradition at a summer house or on holidays.

Maker Will Carswell liked the simplicity and pace of the jigsaw-ing experience. Zen Art & Design is meant to help relax and entertain you in the present moment, and offer a different type of escape.

These puzzles are ones both puzzle enthusiasts and “non-puzzle people” can get behind.

@Jeanie Hi Jeanie--the sizes are all listed under each puzzle, but I will also list the sizes here for your convenience--the piece counts are approximate because I hand-design each puzzle uniquely (so a medium could be 201 pieces or 204 pieces, etc.):

    Zen Puzzles:

    Small: 7.5"x7.5", roughly 125 pieces

    Medium: 9.5"x9.5", roughly 2o0 pieces

    Large: 11.5"x11.5", roughly 300 pieces

    Peapod Puzzles for Children:

    I hope this helps!

Will you ever make Enchanted Forest and Upstairs To Magic Land in a large size for us grown-up children?

Beautiful puzzles...Are the images which feature places identified as to location? For example, there's one that looks like it's in Europe, another with a covered bridge, etc. Thanks!

Will, I was one of the testers for this Grommet. I have a confession to make:I usually hate puzzles. So I was not psyched to take two Zen puzzles home and hoped the other testers were more into the assignment. I figured I would barely get through building one. I was wrong. I really enjoyed it. I even built the second one voluntarily. I think the reasons this experience stood out for me were two: the quality of the art and wooden pieces made it more tactile and pleasant than typical cheap cardboard pieces that quickly degrade, and secondly the small size made it more manageable and the Zen puzzles did not take up our whole (single) table while it was in process. Well done! If I liked it a true puzzle lover will REALLY appreciate Zen.
