MarBlue Headfoams are designed with kids in mind: From the tough, colorful EVA foam that covers them to an 85-decibel volume limit, these kids’ headphones are as fun as they are functional. The Florida-based team at MarBlue knew young audiophiles would adore having their very own headphones in playful colors. They also made sure to please parents, with durable, flexible construction that withstands twisting and pulling, like inevitable tug-of-wars between siblings. Plus they’re one solid piece--no small parts to lose. Let your little ones enjoy their tunes (and games, films, and videos) at a level doctors deem safe. Headfoams are practical and whimsical, offering quality sound in an affordable, brightly colored package.

    Hello Grommeteers!

This is Mike from MarBlue. Headfoams are headphones that were created to make sure kids could enjoy using mobile devices and computers to listen to music, play games, or interact with each other just as much as adults could. The best part about Headfoams is that they're almost indestructible and the volume can't get too loud unlike the headphones you may reluctantly share with your younger counterparts. Happy to answer any questions you may have today.

    Are they noise-cancelling as well?

@Patti Hi Patti! No, at this point the Headfoams are not noise cancelling. This decision was made because we usually want our kids to hear us if we need to speak with them. The designers are toying with different specs and a noise cancelling version may be available in the future. Thanks!

    Hey Mike...

    Great product!!!

I know that alot of families living with children with special needs could be interested in this product if it was noise canceling. They are the most compact headphones I have seen ...especially to the noise canceling headphones that I have seen these families using.

How are the ear pads connected to the body of the headphones? This seems to be the point of failure in the other 'kid-friendly' headphones we've tried...

@Ryan Hi Ryan! The pads are connected with glue. We were going to make them removable, but decided against that to prevent loss. Thanks!

@Keiko Hi Keiko! They come with a removable pad (used for smaller head sizes) With the pad removed, they may fit on lower teens. They are geared toward ages 3 and up. We have some 'tweens' using them in the MarBlue family. Smaller head sizes are a definite yes! Thanks!

@Mike @Keiko Hello, Jairo from the Grommet team here. I actually tested these out and they fit my head pretty well and comfortably. I'd say I have a pretty standard sized head, so I'd say they are fine for an adult, barring a rather large noggin.

@jill Hi Jill! They are adjustable only in the sense that there is a pad that can be attached onto the set so it will fit smaller heads. We recommend age 3 as the youngest age. Thanks!
