Moroccan Flair

Haley Forge wasn’t content to use ordinary jars for her hand-poured soy candles. She wanted something special, and she found it in authentic Moroccan tea glasses. The bright colors and detailed graphics add an exotic charm that’s the perfect complement to Haley’s eco-friendly soy candles. There are number of benefits of soy candles when compared to typical paraffin wax candles made with petroleum products. Soy burns longer and cleaner, and it comes from a renewable resource. The soy beans used to make Haley’s Market Street Candles are grown and processed into wax in the U.S. Each candle has a cotton wick and is infused with natural fragrances. When they’re lit, these candles bring warmth and style to every room. They make great gifts for friends, hostesses, and teachers. And when the candle is gone, you can reuse the beautiful Moroccan container as a tea cup, vase, toothbrush holder, pencil case, or anything else you can dream up.

    Hi, Haley -

Love the look of your candles and the fact that they are soy. Can I ask if they are 100% soy wax? Also, I can't seem to find the fragrances for each one. Can you tell us what they are? And can you tell us how many ounces each one is and about how long they burn?

    Thanks! Great idea!

    Aimee

@Aimee: Hi Aimee, good questions, and thank you! They are mostly soy wax with a little bit of palm wax (this is to keep them intact when shipping to warmer climates). The pink and red are scented in tea rose, both greens are green tea, and the gold and orange are honeysuckle. They are 10.5 oz. and burn and estimated 32-38 hours each.

You mention you use "natural fragrances." Does that mean no synthetic fragrances and only sources such as essential oils? Thank you.

@Lyn White: Hi Lyn, that means that we only use essential oils, and/or oils that are suitable for direct skin application, such as what would be used for cosmetics.

The candle holders are beautiful and I love the part about reusing them. What's the best way to clean the wax out of the holder?

    Thank you!

@Melinda: Hi Melinda, good question! I just like to use SUPER hot water mixed with basic dish soap and let them soak for about ten minutes, then use a sponge to take off any remaining wax. NOTE: Don't use the rough part of the sponge unless you have to, it may compromise the paint or gold leafing.

My wife likes the soy candles that you are showing in your main page for the soy candles. She would like to get the dark green, purple, dark blue, the darker pink and the wine colors, do you have in existence? I would like to get those for her.

    Please let me know.

@marcos luria: It must be the lighting that is making those appear to be a different set of colors, but what is pictured are the same colors as we are offering. She will love them!
