Hands-Free Phone

Want to FaceTime at eye level? Or mount your phone on the dashboard to use GPS? This case helps you do it, hands-free. Thousands of tiny suckers (so small you can’t see them) turn this case into a phone mount that sticks to smooth, flat surfaces. It’s called nano-suction technology—and even though it sticks, it isn’t sticky. Pop your phone into the case, and press it against a clean surface—glass, tile, a whiteboard, or try any smooth surface to see if it will work. Start off low to the ground, or over a table. Cross the screen with your finger to ensure the grip is good, and give it a little wiggle, just to double check. The cleaner the phone case and surface are, the better the suction. To clean it, wipe the case down with soapy water. From hands-free selfies to shake-free videos, you’ll find many ways to use this gravity-defying case.

    @Wannie

    Yes, Samsung Notes are all similar or maybe even the exact size so making case to fit the Note 3 through the Note 5 would be smart. A lot of Android Note 3 and 4 owners will not even think about giving up their Note. The reason is most or all of the new Android phones are able to swap out the battery. Very, very important to business people that are constantly on the go.

  • Ronald
    Ronald
    2/5/2016 12:40 PM

    @Ronald

    Correction: most of the new Android phones are not able to swap out the batteries. Something that is very very important two business people or anyone else who was on the go and running low on battery juice during the day. So making a case to fit Samsung Note 3 through 5 would be very smart since there are a lot of note Owner out there who would not give up their note 3 or 4 s for any reason because they can swap out the batteries in the threes and fours

    I see all of the comments from people asking about Durable High Shock cases,cases with batteries in them, tablet cases, etc. You should sell a product that permanently attaches the Micro Suction material to the cases people already own. I know I am not interested in discarding my expensive case just to gain the one added sticky feature.

    @Randy Great question! Surprisingly, the case slips in and out of pockets easily (I put the case in my jeans pocket every day). The case only sticks to smooth flat surfaces, so clothing doesn't really stick. As for a clip, the case "sticks" to flat surfaces, so it will likely stick to the clip.

    Hi Kathleen, the case is pretty competitive to other alternatives especially when you consider the tacked on nano-suction technology that allows it be held hands-free. That is really what sets it apart. It won't be for everyone, but for those driving frequently, someone cooking, or brushing their teeth, this type of functionality is highly coveted.

    @David Hi David, the feel of the case is somewhere in the middle between flimsier silicone and a real hard plastic case. There is some pliability. The back of the case is where you stick it, has the nano suction material and it's a softer feel. I hope that helps. Thanks!

    @Jaclyn Hi Jaclyn, we are evaluating all phone types to determine what models to support in the future. Thanks for the note on the Note, pun intended! And I will let our development guys know. This sort of feedback is terrific in helping us gauge where the demand is coming from. Thank you!

    @Wannie

    @Ronald

    Re: gravebane's comment-

    is there any chance of making these in such a way that they work with other more protective cases? maybe something like an adhesive rectangle the size of the phone that could be attached to the back of any existing case?

    This would be perfect!

    I've used a Spec case for a while now with a display protector and have had no problems. This case looks similar in construction. Is it similar in composition?

    @Peter Thanks for the question! I'm not sure which Spec (or is it Speck?) case you have, but I can tell you that our case was specifically designed to work with edge-to-edge glass screen protectors. I hope that answers your question! :)

    Great idea but you don't have my case. Any plans to just sell the sticky surface? So it can be applied to ANYTHING, like single sided Velcro? This sounds like a real disrupter, like the first 3M sticky notes! Good luck!!!

    Will it try to stick or resist taking out of my pocket or clip to my belt?

  • Wannie

    2/5/2016 12:57 PM

    @Randy Great question! Surprisingly, the case slips in and out of pockets easily (I put the case in my jeans pocket every day). The case only sticks to smooth flat surfaces, so clothing doesn't really stick. As for a clip, the case "sticks" to flat surfaces, so it will likely stick to the clip.

  • Mike

    Hi Kathleen, the case is pretty competitive to other alternatives especially when you consider the tacked on nano-suction technology that allows it be held hands-free. That is really what sets it apart. It won't be for everyone, but for those driving frequently, someone cooking, or brushing their teeth, this type of functionality is highly coveted.

    Hi! I am very intrigued. What is the feel of the case? Is it like silicone or is it like hard plastic?

  • Wannie

    2/5/2016 2:17 PM

    @David Hi David, the feel of the case is somewhere in the middle between flimsier silicone and a real hard plastic case. There is some pliability. The back of the case is where you stick it, has the nano suction material and it's a softer feel. I hope that helps. Thanks!

    So to use your device I would have to take the Otter case off my phone? I have a Galaxy S6.

    Thanks.

    This sounds amazing, and the bonus is it is t sticky. Normally I am very picky about my cases, but I almost did t even hesitate in this one! No extra contraptions needed, less chance I will bump into it sending it careening off my counter (nice broken glass now, for that one) . I am excited to get it, and show it off!

    Definately a great idea. I'd like to be able to place my phone, already in its case, into yours. That way there is no changing of cases, kind of like putting on an overcoat - for your phone. A really grippy, fitted overcoat - that sticks to things. Yeah - like a Spiderman overcoat! I'm such a nerd!!

    Haha now THAT is definitely a great idea, Becky! I don't know about a sticky overcoat, but it's possible a sticky patch of sorts could be in the works to fit any phone. Stay tuned!

    Hi Jim, it appears the GS6 is decimal points off being a fit for the Samsung Galaxy case. You can certainly give it a try though. If you can't make it fit, you can see our entire return policy here.
