good product

Mat keeps the bowls in place and catches any spills. Bowls clean well in the dishwasher.

Life saver

9/15/2015 by Cynthia

What a life saver! The raised lip around the outside edge keeps all the little bits of food contained and this mat doesn't slip or slide. It stays right where I put it. My only complaint is they don't have separate bowls you can purchase. I would love to have 3-4 extra bowls.More > < Less

Great Double Bowl for my kitties

9/15/2015 by Patricia

Bought this double feeder bowl for my 2 cats. It's perfect in that it doesn't move all over the wood floor and the tray around the bowl is perfect to catch dropped kitty food. It's a good size for the two kitties. I use both sides for food - and since the kitties like two different kinds of food it works out perfectly. I highly recommend this bowl. Thinking about going back for a set for my pup. I think the value is quite good. Love the purple!!More > < Less

Perfect for the cat who likes to "bury" her food!

9/2/2015 by Judy

Where has this been all of our cat parenting lives?! We have a part Siamese rescue who thinks life isn't complete unless she can try to "bury"t;bury" her food after a meal. (I wasn't aware cats did this until we got her--but evidently, some do!)

We've had the usual two-container dishes, bought under the dish plastic mats, tried regular heavy dishes--everything. We were constantly cleaning the mats or hearing her trying to bury her bowls, and sometimes even flipping them! Every day was a challenge, because I'm very particular about keeping things neat.

When I saw this, read that the base was curved & silicone--I ordered FAST! I can't say enough about it: Cleans easily, doesn't slide around on the floor or carpet. Has a "lip" around the outside, just in case of overages or spills. Love the shiny, removable bowls, too!

Plus, now we don't have to HEAR her digging around the food area. It's totally silent now, because of the silicone base--her paws make no noise with this. SCORE!

TIP FOR OWNERS: You'll want to wash the interior of the bowls with a soft cloth only. It's super shiny and paper towels, scrubbers or the like WILL scratch the bowls. Otherwise, just get it. You won't be disappointed!

I'd give it TEN STARS if I could!

About Messy Mutts

Keep It Clean

Just because you have a pet (or two or three…) doesn’t mean your house has to look like it. Messy Mutts makes fashionable and functional petware that fits right in with your décor.

Founder Chris Shipton and his wife, Lauren, have two dogs—Daisy and Davis—who love the outdoors. They also love to bring the outdoors back inside with them and make more work for their humans.

Like many of us, Chris and Lauren feed their dogs in the kitchen. But after looking for stylish, practical food bowls for their dogs, Chris was disappointed in the selection. With 20+ years in the kitchen product industry, Chris realized that petware should fit into your home as well as kitchenware. So he created Messy Mutts.

Their mess-catching, no-slip pet feeding stations look like something you’d eat out of, as Chris says. With Messy Mutts, living with your pets is much more fashionable.
