Mighty Magnet Photo Cables

Picture this

Why tuck your favorite photos away in an album when you can enjoy them every day with Mishu Photo Cables—an easy way to hang photos, cards, and keepsakes without poking a bazillion holes in your walls. No more tape marks or sticky residue either. Just one thumb tack is all it takes.

Each photo cable includes nine decorative, little magnets. What these magnets lack in size, they more than make up for in style and strength. Each rare earth magnet can hold up to five sheets of paper. Choose the magnet that best suits
your decor and use it for everything from pictures to ticket stubs and other memorabilia.

The founder of Mishu, Kasia Davis, originally came up with the idea when she was in college. Years later, she and her husband, Andy, made the concept a reality, eventually turning the company over to longtime friend and fellow entrepreneur Joey Gilbert. Photo cables are a great addition to any dorm room, teenage bedroom, kitchen, or office. From snapshots of friends and family to kids’ artwork, baby announcements, wedding invitations, and holiday cards, Mishu Photo Cables are a simple, inventive way for people of all ages to put life’s greatest moments on display.

    Hi Dianne,

Yes, they are perfectly suitable for this. It's really up to you how you decide to personalize your space with the photo cables.

While this is a very cute idea, these little powerful magnets can be DEADLY if swallowed by a child or pet. (Two magnets can close off part of the intestines.) Please warn people not to use these if they have small children or pets in the home.

I love the idea of this!

But I feel that as a parent of small children, one needs to be careful with the small magnets since the children will put these in their mouths.

@Pierre this is my concern - can you tell me more?

    Hi All,

The recommended age for this product is 13 and up. Of course with any item like this, you'll need to be careful around small children. I've also contacted the founder to see if he can provide any additional insight here.

You aren't able to buy extra magnets separately at this time. Sometimes the founder is able to sell things like this separately, and sometimes it doesn't work logistically. It's possible you may be able to replace with similar magnets that you can buy elsewhere if they become lost, but I will let Joey chime in here.
