    Hello! I'm proud to introduce Naked Truth (formerly Naked Undies) to The Grommet . Our collection of classic, sophisticated, and luxurious loungewear essentials are quintessential pieces that embrace femininity. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

    Beautiful robes. I got excited when I heard you would be marketing to a large demographic. Then I heard they were for every woman (WOW) and then sizes 0 - 12. I am not every woman, and a lot of grandmothers are not able to stay a size 12--even my skinny mini BFF from high school is having trouble there. I wish you luck anyway. I'm used to most things being S/M/L...but that every woman comment did have me going for a minute!

    @Robin HI Robin! I'm so sorry if any of the information was mis-construed about naked undies as a brand. Naked Undies is proud to embrace a woman's curves at any size. Our brand is built on proportion and fit and to hug not bind a woman at any size. Our waist bands are stretchy and fabric is deliciously cozy and soft with a 5 way stretch. Our sizing starts at a SIZE 1 (xs)- SIZE 5 (xl) which because of the stretch can fit everyone that wears a zero to a size 16.

    I hope that helps answer the sizing questions you may have--Please feel free to ask anything at all and I"ll be here to answer everything!

    BESOS,

    Rachel & Molly

    @Molly size 5 is XL? On what planet? Not this one! According to you, I was an XL 30 years ago, when I weighed in at a whopping 110 lbs! Guess I won't be buying any of your clothing! Pitty, it sounds so appealing.

    Sorry ladies, but this is a fail for your "every woman" sales pitch. Your sizes range from 0-12 which is NOT every woman, not even close, these are model/jr sizes with only a couple of sizes fitting your "Average sized" woman. I know that probably being as thin as you both are you can't fathom going beyond a size 12 which I'm sure you believe is huge, but Nope, you're wrong. Good luck with your company unfortunately I won't be a customer as much as I liked what you had to offer.

    @joanne HI Angy & Cathy,

    Thank you for your comments. We truly appreciate your feedback. Naked Undies was created 18 months ago and has been evolving every day. When Oprah named us as one of her FAVORITE THINGS FOR HOLIDAY 2014 we expanded our line in many realms, colors, styles, & sizing. We are two women who started a business on our principle that we wanted to make a chic lifestyle alternative clothing for women with a neutral pallete, soft touch, & cozy (of course stretchy)! Currently we offer up to a size 16 but given your feedback will look into expanding that sizing. Thank you again! Please feel free to ask anything at all--we are an open book and apologize if anything wasn't clear about the sizing of our brand.

    Besos,

    Rachel & Molly

    Unfortunately, I'm right with the other comments as far as size. Size 0-12 would be small. This is not "average woman" in today's world. Also, I really do not see this marketable for office wear. The robe when worn by itself is see through. On the video, the model wearing the pink robe turned around, her rear was showing. If wearing to work or shopping, it would have to be worn as a layer, a covering not as a dress.

    4/8/2015 4:18 PM

    @CarolynHI Carolyn,

    Firstly, thank you for your feedback. I'm very sorry that our sizing was unclear based on the video reference, it no way reflects the full sizing of our line. Currently, our line fits a range of 0-16 and with the stretch and give of the fabric can be expanded on either end of the spectrum. Sizing this day and age can be a challenge when giving a numerical value. SO many brands size things differently making a universal sizing chart difficult. Have you ever worn two different sizes in two different brands? I sincerely apologize for the miscommunication about our sizing and am here to answer any questions you may have. Please know that your comments are very helpful and appreciate hearing your response. We at Naked Undies want to be able to service our customers to the best of our ability and take every comment to heart.

    I just wanted to say Thank you for making small sizes like zero. I am a very petite thin woman and it is not easy to find small sizes that are plain or adult like. Not childish or too flashy junior/teen like. If you go to a mall or shop online there are many clothing manufacturers out there with shops or collections devoted to plus sizes. There are much, much fewer high quality, simple, SMALL size clothiers out there. So THANK YOU!

    @Leslie Hi Deb & Leslie,

    Thank you for your comment. WE ARE VERY SORRY that anything about naked undies was perceived to think that a size 12 was as large as we make or that we would think that a size large was the average size woman. We at naked undies pride ourselves on our care, quality, and attention to detail in everything that we do for our brand--that includes sizing. Sizing is a very tricky thing when creating a brand, so many clothing companies have their own system that a universal sizing chart has been lost in translation. We would love to be given the opportunity to explain naked undies ideology and would love if you would give us the chance. Feel free to contact us through the Grommet community experience team here--I would love to send you something that would better explain what we do and who we are naked undies.

    We hope you give us the opportunity.

    Molly -

    Seems like some of our angrier grommeters have come to visit from the trivet discussion - that got hot. Its Wednesday - so let's turn that frown upside down!

    So interested in the product - one small question, i think the name is cute - but i prefer to keep potty mouth out of our house. Is the name "naked undies" on the product - it's okay it is on the invoice (just send an email - no paper copies please).

    This product does not interest me and it seems a bit overindulgent. Nonetheless, I would like to remind readers that naked is not a dirty word and what the heck is potty mouth? poop jokes?....The word naked it is part of the English language and can be used literally and figuratively. Susan, I dear hope you are not a school teacher. Its' not the words that are a problem; it's your mind.

    4/8/2015 2:55 PM

    Hi Susan, I appreciate the dose of optimism for hump day! The name Naked Undies is on the product, but discreetly where you would find the tag.

    Denise, no naked or undies are not traditionally "dirty words" in the English language or George Carlin routines, but of course, that is extremely subjective. Some people may not want to use the words in their vernacular and that is something we all need to respect.

    Really sad that you think that only women size 12 and smaller are allowed to wear your line of clothes. That is discrimination. It's easy to see where young women learn that they can't wear certain clothes because they weigh too much and now feel bad about themselves. I am enraged that you decided to cater to the perceived "beautiful people". I was going to place a very nice sized order for Naked Undies. Unfortunately I'm to fat for you to take my order and my money. Sincerely, Marsha M. Sturgill

    @Phil This comment is one of the most outrageously offensive comments I've seen on a Grommet board. Honestly you have no business saying things like this. Also, your name is Phil, so pardon my assumptions but I'm gunna go ahead and say you're a man? Yeah, you have no right. I'm also curious as to why you feel the need to come onto a comment board for women's clothing, being, you know, not a woman (I presume).

    Additionally, coming here and telling these women to shut up or get on a treadmill is incredibly disrespectful. If your ultimate solution to this problem is just that everyone should work out until they fit into clothes half the country wouldn't be fitting into any clothes to begin with. It takes a special brand of horrible person to say things like that with a straight face to people.

    Grow up. You're not even the target audience for this launch.

    Almost every woman in my extended family is 5'1" tall. We range in size from 2 to 14 - none of us can wear your products because we are too short. The top would be a dress, with sleeves hanging past our hands, the pants would come up under our arms. Are you considering expanding into petites? Although many retailers say they sell petites, they are petite in length only or their petite is a true petite that measure 2 sizes smaller than the same size for misses. Let me tell you, it's not pleasant to be able to attach your waistband to your bra strap or think you wear a 10 petite and find you can't get your arm into anything offered. I'm retired and would love something like your products to lounge at home or wear out and about. I hope you consider true petites - there is a HUGE untapped market out there.

    Wow you're so edgy and smart, knowing exactly what this country's problems are. I highly doubt that this country's problem is that some women are bigger, and not that people literally discriminate against those people instead of trying to actually identify what CAUSES the problem, but as you said you have a woman in your life so you're the expert.

    Phil and Charlie, what started out as constructive feedback has now taken a sharp turn into trading insults. In no way is that the board we are trying to foster. We want this board to serve as a place where Makers can hear from consumers. What we absolutely do not want is personal attacks on others. There may be places for that on the internet, but this is certainly not one of them.

    @Molly HI Marsha,

    Firstly, Thank you for taking the time to look our brand and give us your feedback. I truly TRULY apologize for any confusion the video gave to mislead the purpose or size range of naked undies. Sizing is subjective as we all know and there is no universal system anymore. A person could be 2-3 different sizes in different brands. We at naked undies do the best we can to service our customers and take pride in our garments. We want to make sure we can deliver a product that makes us feel good about the work we are putting in. We make sure that each product fits comfortably and also looks beautiful on a woman's curves--any shape or size. We are always evolving and growing as a business and your feedback is very helpful. I want to set the record straight as of now are sizing ranges from 0-16 (which could go either way do to the fabric stretch) We know that women range on either side of that spectrum but being a small business we can't service everyone---YET... our goal is to be able to! Marsha-- we would love the opportunity to explain the essence of naked undies and truly explain what we stand for. Please feel free to contact us through the Grommet community experience team here to allow us to convey the true meaning of our brand.

    We hope to hear from you.

    @MollyHi Kim,

    Thank you for your comment! I am 5'1.5 (always count the half) and Molly is 5'9. When creating our pieces at naked undies we use each other as the fit models for every garment to insure that all height's are accounted for. The OPRAH'S FAVORITE THINGS FOR 2014 "THE CHARLIE V-NECK" is a tunic length that can be worn with legging, denim, or any of our lifestyle bottoms. Naked Undies pants are designed with the same height consideration in mind. One of my favorites being the kennedy pant because of the banding at the bottom it makes it PERFECT for any height!

    I'm so sorry that your sizing is so limited. The average woman is getting larger, and there is a large market in "off" sizes that are often forgotten by the better quality clothing. By "off" sizes I mean petites, tall and extended sizes up to and including size 24. Even at my smallest weight, I'm a tall size 22 or 24 depending on the ease in a garment. Weight loss does not change bone structure, and i am happy a a few manufactures are beginning to realize that. I only wish you were one of them.

    So great to see Naked Undies on here. I'm a size 16 and recently ordered their Baxter pant and the Charlie V-Neck shirt in a size 5. Not only do I love the charcoal color but the fabric is impeccable! I never want to take them off - so soft, pairs well with my other clothes (mix n' match), and easy to take care of (no dry-cleaning needed). Plus the way the fabric sustains and stretches - there's no chance of what we all fear: muffin top! In fact, the fabric works wonders on my body size and they make great layering pieces too.

    0-12? Are you kidding? You keep saying that with the "5 way stretch" it would fit up to a 16. Do you think women WANT to wear something that skin tight? I like baggy, loose fitting clothing. I am a size missy 18. These clothes would be skin tight on me and NOT flattering at all. Not only that, but the price is way out of line. To pay that much for a robe? I don't think so...or that sweater at $96? Sorry....no way would I spend that kind of money on a sweater or a robe. I have a beautiful robe that only cost $50 that is warm and comfortable...and it is much sturdier than the robe on the pencil stick model. How come you don't show a true size 16 wearing that robe? Is it because of how awful it would look on her? Or maybe you couldn't get a model that large to have her photo taken wearing something that looked like it was painted on?

    Hi Sandra, you are certainly not alone. In terms of sizing, as Molly said numerous times above, they are a growing business and will certainly be looking to grow their product line in items and sizing as they continue to grow.

    As far as pricing, some will see the value in luxury loungewear made in the US, some won't. We understand that. The benefit of these robes is they can be a compliment to an outfit and can be worn in the house and out.

The launch day conversation has ended. Please direct further questions about this Grommet to our Community Experience Team.

Naked Truth

Luxurious Loungewear

Cozy Versatility

Don’t you wish your favorite, cozy, hanging-at-home clothes were nice enough to wear out of the house?

Naked Truth makes heavenly loungewear that’s just as appropriate running errands as it is reading on the couch. The ultra-soft, luxurious blend of modal and spandex makes for a light, silky blend that holds its shape. These
investment pieces come in timeless neutrals, meaning there will be no shortage of places and occasions to wear them.

The long sleeve V-neck makes an exquisite first layer, or can be worn all by itself from home to the office to anywhere else. Choose the short, lightweight robe to wrap yourself in heavenly comfort. It drapes beautifully, too, so take off the tie and don it as an open, top layer.

Founders Rachel Zimmerman and Molly Shaheen met during their first week of college. They pursued different careers, but reunited years later to create gorgeous basics that women won’t want to take off. They smartly made them easy to care for, too. Pampering yourself again is as simple as running your Naked Truth through the wash.

    @joanne HI Angy & Cathy,

    @CarolynHI Carolyn,

    Yup, sorry. Size 12 is decidedly NOT every woman. Even small/medium/large is not a good choice. How about you make sizes from 0-28? THAT'S more like every woman.This sort of offends me even.

    @Leslie Hi Deb & Leslie,

    @Molly HI Marsha,

    @MollyHi Kim,
