Hello Everyone! My name is Mary Kate and I am part of the sales team at OgoSport. OgoSport has just launched the OgoBild Construction System and we are so excited to be today's Grommet. The flexible OgoBild ball makes it fun and simple to "bild" real moving vehicles, robot, creatures and sculptures. What will you "bild?" I am here and would love to answer any questions you may have for me today!

I bought the pod for my daughter (7 yo) and my niece (10 yo) and was very happy with how they received it. My daughter had been asking for leggos and she also wanted a tent to play in so when I saw the pod I knew it would be perfect. From the minute I gave them the toy they were completely preoccupied. They helped each other build a fort, complete with a sheet to cover, and accessories from the nexxus set as accessories. Then they made a competition out of it to see whose "house" was better. They even got the dog in on it, dubbing her the judge (which ever "house" she chose to sleep in was the winner). This product is definitely money well spent. They played with the pod right up until it was time for bed, and even convinced me to allow them to sleep in their creations. Its easy assembly and clean up, and was the perfect distraction for my active child. I recommend it to all!

I am so happy that you had a great time playing with both the Pod and the Nexus - what creative kids!
-
@Mary Kate Cowell: I know! I was actually really surprised to see them incorporate the pieces and attachments from the nexxus. It hadn't even occurred to me to do that so it was a pleasant surprise! They actually used the other pieces as a doorbell, doorknob and other accessories.

Is this item 'Made in America"? Thanks, Claire
-
Hello Claire! Thank you for your question. We manufacture all of our products in China but everything is designed here in Brooklyn, NY!
-
Since the product is made in China. I am concerned about the materiel. Is it BPA free?
-
@Daddy Jon: Thanks for your question! Our products are totally safe. Our materials are BPA free and CPSIA compliant. In fact, the companies owners both have small children and at OgoSport we make it a priority to produce safe toys!
-
What age group is this product recommended for?
-
@Kathleen Olsen: Hey kathleen, good inquiry. We recommend the build line for children 6+. However, with the pod children as young as 3 can play with it because it is a toy that utilizes the imagination as opposed to skills.
-
With the focus on s
afety, could the pieces be easily swallowed? The 3 year old twins would have a great time with the set if that doesn't need to be a consern. Joyce West Virginia -
@Joyce: Valid Concern! Fortunately the pod was safety approved for 3+ and the smallest piece is the rubber ball, so with adult supervision that shouldn't be a concern. Im sure your twins will have an awesome time with this product.
-
@Mary Kate Cowell: Thanks, I've added it to my Christmas List.
-
Can you tell me the dimensions of each box, and the weight please? I'd like to send to my nephews in Scotland for Xmas, but will depend on how much it will cost to mail them. Or do you have a UK distributor? Thank you.
-
@Wendy: We are checking and will get back to you. Thanks!
-
@Wendy: Hi Wendy! The Pod weights roughly 3 lbs - 9"x26"x2". The Nexus set weights roughly 1.5 lbs - 9.5"x12"x3". These sets are brand new and not yet being distributed in the UK. I am sure that your nephews will love the OgoBild!
