Rotate & Clip

AZURRO Maker and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Mark McBride had the same hang-ups with nail clippers as many other folks—namely awkward angles, uncomfortable pinching action, and flimsy construction. When Mark looked to invest in the best clippers he could find to eliminate these aggravations, he discovered the best clippers didn’t exist yet. It was up to him to make them.

Mark teamed up with some fellow surgeons to engineer these rotary nail clippers. They applied their hands-on experience with surgical tools to make their sturdy clippers have a more ergonomic design that rests in the palm of your hand—a particularly good fit for those with dexterity issues. No pinching motion with your fingers needed here, just a squeeze of your hand triggers the super-sharp stainless blade. That blade can rotate 180 degrees to sidestep the weird hand positioning that can lead to cramps, aches, and (ouch) miss-cuts. The blade leaves a clean cut and is so sharp you might only need one go to get the job done.
