Capra Leather

Capra Leather
Handcrafted

Maker Story

A Case For Travel

Artisans at Capra Leather craft travel bags and holders by hand in their Bogotá, Colombia studios. The goal of Makers Juan Quinones and Margarita Sicard is to make items that are functional yet stylish and with an emphasis on quality. The team uses locally-sourced materials when possible and they partner with tanneries with environmental certifications to minimize their ecological footprint.

Full-grain leather is the foundation for the collection of toiletries and gadget bags and passport and card holders. The leather is treated with hydrofuge technology to make it water repellent. Traveling isn’t always glamorous, but these rich-looking (and feeling) goods equip road warriors to be better organized and better looking while in transit.
