Maker Emma Royston was inspired to create leather travel accessories in 2015 after a once-in-a-lifetime road trip with her boyfriend. The duo traveled from Las Vegas to L.A. to San Francisco, crossing the Mojave desert in a rented Mustang. As a special birthday gift for her intrepid partner, Emma hand-sewed their route on the road map the couple used for their trip. Delighted with the process—but stymied by paper’s fragility—Emma experimented with alternative materials, landing on leather as a durable solution.
Her stitchable leather goods let you trace every journey you take and transform it into a keepsake. The journal, wallet, and passport cover are specially perforated to make stitching easier. Each comes with a needle and colorful thread, and is ready to hit the road when you are.
