Maker Story

Three-Way Pair

Days of August Maker Marie Pier Labelle began crafting stainless steel jewelry back in 2011 as a creative outlet. She was experimenting with ways to give the flat profile of stainless steel more dimension when she came up with a three-piece earring design that created the effect she wanted. It was a hit with others too, so in 2013 Marie devoted herself to making jewelry full time.

A pair of the versatile earrings can be worn three ways: as studs, ear jackets, or with the pieces layered on top of the lobe. Whichever way you choose, a pair has a modern design that feels minimalist but is also instantly eye-catching.

Marie keeps things as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible at Days of August, so the stainless steel she uses is reclaimed and locally-sourced, and she powers her studio with solar panels.
