Jooki

Kid-Friendly Player

Jooki kids music player comes from dad and electrical engineer Théodore Marescaux. He wanted to create a mini jukebox that let his kids pick what they listen to without having little hands grabbing for his phone. Théodore felt like his daughters were missing out on the experience of having control over choosing songs and he didn’t want them to rely on his phone for music, either. So he made Jooki to be a smart, screen-free alternative that sounds great, too.

Kids control the cute and quirky characters that activate a parent-preloaded playlist. Placing a character on the speaker gets the music or a story started. Parents are in charge of all the content, which they manage through the app, along with controls like maximum volume and bedtime shut-off. They can also use the app to send voice notes to their kids.

Jooki connects over WiFi and can stream through a Spotify Premium account. The speaker plays for around eight hours (at medium volume) before needing a recharge. It’s portable to take on the go and is splash-proof for bath time dance parties. Théodore wants Jooki to be your new family music player and we think it definitely hits all the the right notes.
