Digital Love Note

LoveBox Co-Founder Jean Gregoire created the digital box-meets-love-notes receiver when he was studying at MIT in Boston—and missing his girlfriend back home in France. When Co-Founder Marie Poulle checked it out, she thought it would be a great way to connect with her sister in London. The duo realized that Jean’s box could be used by just about anyone to stay in touch with those who matter most.

Part of the beauty of Lovebox is its simplicity. It looks like a beautifully made wooden box—and it is. But under the lid is a digital screen that displays messages sent from up to 20 family members, friends, or all-around special people.

The pixelated heart spins to alert you a message is waiting inside—which is almost as exciting as actually reading the message. Give the heart a spin to let the sender know how much their words mean to you. They’ll get a shower of hearts on their screen to tide them over until you can be together again.
