Heather and Mike Acerra didn’t have a background in toy making when they started Lux Blox, but they did have some very important inspiration—their sons. Observing how he learned through play sparked a passion for creating toys that flexed kids' STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills all while having fun. So they spent over three years researching, developing, and 3-D printing. Now their bending, folding, interlocking blocks are recognized as an important STEM tool, but even better—kids just think they’re really fun to build with.
