Maker Story

A Day in the Pirani Life

Pirani Makers Danielle Del Sordo and Brandegee Pierce were raised in South Florida where they lived active lifestyles and spent much of their time outdoors. As they grew older, they also grew tired of seeing litter (most often plastic party cups) scattered across the beautiful beaches they often visited. This motivated them to design the first vacuum-insulated red party cup and put a stop to the billions of single-use plastic cups that are tossed every year.

After countless 3D-printed prototypes created in Brandegee's home studio, they came up with the Pirani Party Tumbler. These reusable party cups keep the spirit of the occasion alive and your drinks hot or cold. Pirani hopes their improvements on the classic red cup will bring people together while reducing waste and making a positive impact on the environment.
