It all started in 2005 when Punjammies founder Shannon Keith and her husband visited India. They fell in love with the country, but even after their return home, remained haunted by the women and children they'd seen in the red light district. Shannon turned to what she knew – sales and merchandising – and developed Punjammies as a way to help Indian women rescued from prostitution rebuild their lives.
What started as a six-woman sewing center is now three centers employing 155 women who receive fair wages and holistic recovery care. Punjammies’ festive all-cotton lounge pants look and feel as wonderful as the story behind them. The elastic waistband sits comfortably on your hips, and the fit can be customized with the drawstring. You can choose from full-length or capris, and grab a Freeset top (they're another International Princess Project partner, operating similarly) to match. Hope never looked so good!
