Rustico journals have the weathered patina of an old-world heirloom combined with simple, clean lines. The craftspeople who make each journal are skilled at fusing traditional bookmaking methods and modern aesthetics to create timeless products.
Every material is thoughtfully sourced. Rustico uses thick, top-grain cowhide leather with natural blemishes that add texture and character. The cotton-rag paper—which is created from recycled post-consumer waste—has hand-torn deckled edges and a slight texture that gives it a handmade feel. Rustico gets its leathers from U.S. tanners, and every product is made in Utah.
Life is full of adventures, and Rustico’s hand-sewn journals are the perfect vessels for recording our passions.
