Selfie Pole

Selfie Pole

Maker Story

Snap Happy

In an age of ubiquitous selfies, the perfect shot is rarely an arm’s length away. The selfie pole is a quick, clever way to extend your reach and open up a world of better photos. The telescoping rod lets you hold your smartphone or camera at a distance, snapping pics and videos of yourself, a group, or the surroundings. (To take photos, simply set a timer on the camera or with an app.)

Maker Fred Kraftka was his family’s appointed photographer and was tired of being omitted from the photos. His answer was simple: A device that lengthens the camera’s distance from you.

Because the selfie pole folds up small, it's perfect to store in a pocket or purse. Or carry it with the attached wrist strap. Get everyone in a group picture without a tripod. Take overhead shots for a new perspective. Whenever or however the next photo op arrives, you’ll be ready.
