When Maker Janey Lynn’s grandma cut up an old chenille robe into squares, she was pleasantly surprised. These seemingly humble rags turned out to be heavy-duty cleaners that absorb almost ten times their weight in water.
Janey Lynn decided to create versatile towels from the same kind of fabric. Shaggies are regular-sized hand towels you can use to polish wood, dust, or use as your go-to washcloth. Scrubbies are Shaggies with an edge. These smaller towels have nylon in the back to scrub dishes and also double as an exfoliating cloth when you shower.
With the wisdom of grandma’s hand-me-down, but none of the wait, these towels are handy all around the house.
