Maker Story

A Map To Remember

Thunder Bunny Labs was created by Chris Dasbach and his wife Courtney who aspired to visit all 50 states together—and chart their progress along the way. When Chris couldn’t find a map template that fit photos into each state, he created one himself. He made the first prototype by hand, tracing and cutting with a craft knife for 30 hours. The hard work paid off and the compliments piled up.

Made in Troy, Michigan, the maps cover a range of beloved milestones: all 50 states, all 61 national parks, or all of the professional hockey, football, baseball, or basketball stadiums. Each mat fits in a standard frame and includes access to the Map Maker online photo tool that makes it easy to size and cut your photos to match the outlines on each map.
