Thirty years ago, Maker Scott Moody left his job as an IBM engineer to teach high school calculus. Upon retiring, he started Chirpwood, a small handcrafted picture frame company and began traveling to Rwanda to teach. These trips inspired Scott to donate half of Chirpwood's profits to the Bridge2Rwanda scholars program.

Scott created TwoStick shadows for budding artists who are beyond coloring, but not yet ready for a blank canvas. You paint directly on a grayscale canvas image using a color image as a guide. The closer you mimic the guide image, the more your painting will look like the original. However, you have the freedom to improvise and unearth your own unique painting. As your skills and confidence increase, you will be less and less dependent on using the shadows as a guide.
