Just the relief and convenience I need

I love being able slap this one and keep moving. As a working mom, always on the go, I do not have to time to sit and ice whatever aches. Definitely see more purchases in the future!More > < Less

Disappointed in Paincakes

5/15/2018 by Experienced Shopper

I ordered two of these and only received one. I contacted The Grommet and they quickly refunded my money since the manufacturer was unable to send another one. hhrmmpft I gave it a mid-rating since I did get my $$ back. However, I ordered these as a funny Christmas gift but the fun was lost because I only got one cold pack for 2 kids.More > < Less

good product, but priced too high

since I first bought it, the product has been reduced in size and increased in price. I will probably not buy it again.

Got frostbite

7/8/2017 by Jason

From looking online, I guess it's called an "Ice pack burn". I recently had shoulder surgery and used the paincakes on my shoulder and neck. I would usually be able to tell when I'd had it on a spot too long, but a couple times, the spot was numb and I didn't realize that I had left it on too long. When the spot warmed up, it started to hurt, and then in a few days the skin started to peel like a sunburn. After the second time I did it, I quit using them. This is the first time I've ever had something like that happen, so it's not that I have sensitive skin. The ice packs as just too cold for direct contact with your skin.More > < Less

They work okay but we’re only sticky for a couple weeks.

I would not buy again because they did not stay sticky long enough for the price. Sticky needs to be washable to be able to stick longer than a couple weeks.More > < Less
