Build Your Imagination

What can you do with a few sheets of paper? If it’s from Grace Hawthorne’s Paper Punk supply, the possibilities are endless. Best of all, you don’t need to be an origami master to create stunning paper sculptures. It all starts with carefully designed and engineered paper. Bold, graphic sheets arrive in a kit, and they’re perforated so it’s easy to start tearing and folding. The transformation from flat sheets into 3D creations is incredible. Perforated pieces become pointy volumes and angular blocks that fit together to form funky animals, robots, vehicles and anything your imagination conjures up. You can follow Grace’s instructions, or do your own thing and build something original. (Everything you need comes in the kit; no scissors, glue or tape is needed.) Paper Punk’s edgy toys are great exercise for your brain. They’re fun for young kids, teens, and adults -- anyone who wants to take a break from computer screens and smartphones and try their hand at something tactile.

Hello Daily Grommet Folks! I'm Grace Hawthorne, founder and creator of Paper Punk, a good-for-your-brain creativity exercise disguised as FUN. As an entrepreneur, artist, educator, author and mom, I am exposed to many facets of life/culture/industry. What I've witnessed has made me increasingly concerned about how little we engage with our tangible world. I invented Paper Punk so people of all ages could have an easy way to roll up their sleeves, unplug, exercise their creativity and make something with their hands. I am happy to answer any questions you might have AND I cannot wait to see the Paper Punks you make!

    Hi, Grace,

It looks like the "instructions" are primarily graphic, rather than language-based. Is this true? I'm looking for a gift for one of my great nieces who speaks/reads both French and Spanish, but I'm not sure of her English-reading skills. Can you give me an idea of how well this crosses over the language barrier?

LOVE your designs! I might have to get the pup for myself ;)

    Thanks,

    Sylvie

@Sylvie: Thank you! Your great niece will love this. The whole Paper Punk experience is very intuitive. The sheets are perforated and guide you to create its shape. The instructions are both graphic and text based if you do need a little extra help. Enjoy.
