How big is the hammock area? One of my kitties is part Maine Coon, so he's quite large.

@Niesa The surface area of the actual hammock cover is 15 inches x 20 inches. Does your Maine Coon prefer to curl up or stretch out when he sleeps?

I have a Maine Coon that weighs approx 24 lbs. Will this hammock hold that much weight?

@Lane The hammock is strong enough to hold 24 pounds, but the size may be a bit small depending on your kitty's sleeping style.

This is fantastic! I have a few kitties that will enjoy this & then a few I fear are much too large for it. I recently adopted Furrrnando Caballo, a LARGE Snowshoe (tall, not portly), who wouldn't be able to enjoy it. I wonder if you have thought of making something with similar design that would fit on a windowsill? The ones offered for sale are just awful! Made of pressboard & plastic. I plan to order a few of these & hope you do think of expanding out to making "window seats" of a similar design as they were favorite of my kitties of all ages.

@Kerry Thank you! We do have a few projects in the works at the moment - including something that Furrnando Caballo will be able to enjoy. We haven't started on a window seat lounger yet, but it's a wonderful idea! Our kitties love to sunbathe and bird watch too :)

What an absolutely lovely idea for the kitties! We have three street rescues, two of whom live inside with us. The third girl prefers the outdoor life, but when weather is extreme, she's indoors.

I'm in love with this, and impressed by the tasteful styling as well. :-)

Thank you to The Grommet & PPP for bringing this to us!
