This is really cool! What sets this chair apart from other gaming chairs?

Thanks, Wallace, and great question! The shredded foam is a real difference maker. It's cool to watch it come to life out of the box, it helps PopLounge maintain its shape without having materials escaping (looking at you beanbag chairs), and it makes the chair very comfortable. The PopLounge also makes for a stylish add to a living room. Other gaming chairs usually have one or two of these qualities, but rarely do they have all of them.

I like this idea but I have a question. How heavy is this lounge in weight? I am contemplating using this as a version of lift up seat on my bed s I can read comfortably. I don't have enough space in my room for a chair, and I haven't found one of those beds that can be moved up to an upright position in the size I want yet. So is it too heavy for the top of a mattress to use? I won't be sleeping on it.

    11/30/2015 11:41 AM

Hi Maria Rose, the PopLounge is 18 lbs. I don't think it would be too heavy for your mattress unless your bed is resting on risers. That may be a bit too much for them to handle. You may not intend to sleep on it, but it is so comfortable, you may find yourself accidentally sleeping on it!

    11/30/2015 12:16 PM

It might, Barbara, but the great part about PopLounge is you can just fluff it up a bit and it is good as new! Let's see a bean bag do that!

    Hi Mike,

May the chair be compressed back to the smaller (shipping) size, then re-enlarged at a later date? And could this compression/decompression be done time and again?

  • Mike
    Mike – Special Guest
    11/30/2015 12:23 PM

Hi Victoria, I don't want to call it impossible, but you would be very hard pressed to get it back into the original package. Once it is opened and expanded, the foam begins to harden to a point that remains comfortable but makes it difficult to get it back to that vacuum-sealed size.

  • Mike

Hi Catherine, I left my protractor at home, but eyeballing it, I'd put it at about a 100 degree angle. From the seat to the top of the chair is about 19" and from the back of the chair to the edge where your knees would be is about 24".
