Armadillo

Armadillo Maker Tim Broster spent 40 years working in construction, where he learned firsthand that ill-fitting gear could easily get in the way of the job he was trying to do. His solution was inspired by nature—an armadillo, to be exact. The protective plates on the animals back (known as scutes) are the basis of Tim’s work knee pads. Soft removable plates amp up protection but can move with you, so they won’t get in the way of dexterity. The plates fit onto stretchy, pull-on sleeves that feel comfortable and can be adjusted to get the just-right fit—so you can focus on the job at hand.
