CoffeeSock

Brewing coffee is a time-honed craft, and using a fabric filter, like CoffeeSock, is a classic method that remains surprisingly effective for modern taste buds. CoffeeSock uses organic cotton to filter grinds with richer results than paper filters—all without wasting money or materials. Handmade in Austin, Texas, CoffeeSock is simple, effective, and economical. The company’s founders Corina Guillory and her husband ran out of filters for their coffee maker one morning in 2011. They improvised by making a fabric filter inspired by the traditional chorreador brewing method in Costa Rica. This moment of need launched a family business dedicated to making more flavorful coffee with equal emphasis on sustainability and satisfaction.
