DressWeights was born in 2012 when Maker Christina Dunn was at a friend’s rooftop barbecue wearing a flowy dress and—you guessed it—the wind kept blowing it into unwanted territory. Christina enlisted her engineer brother-in-law Peter McCullough to help solve this pesky problem for dress and skirt wearers.

They began by experimenting with golf club weights supplied by Peter, an avid golfer. After some trial and error they landed on their lightweight and reusable solution. Stick the adhesive weights along the inside of a hem to give it the heft it needs to stay put. It’s that easy to thwart breezes and gusts and still wear what you want.
