I had high hopes for this knife. Bought 2. It's very chinsy feeling. I figured at first maybe it was just lightweight which could be a plus, but after only a week the knife won't open. My husband uses a pocket knife ALL the time. He lost his so I decided to spend more and get this. Wish I hadn't bothered and should've just gotten a husky from Home Depot for half the price!
Best utility knife I've owned!

This is a great little knife. I can truly use it one-handed. With other knives I've had at work, the "locking blade" function became useless after a month--probably broke from all the abuse it got. Not this one. Love the folding extension--if I'm working on something stubborn or hard to get at I have extra leverage and not have to worry about slicing my fingers. My only gripe is that it took a bit of fiddling to insert the blade correctly so it stayed in, and the grip on the pocket-clip side seems like it would gradually shred "regular" work pants (mine are tactical pants that are designed to be everything-proof and at times it seems like the grip will rip the pocket). I'd love it if the clip were removable and there was a lanyard/strap hole on the body. Overall this is an awesome knife and all my coworkers want to know where I got it!
Helpful tool

I like that it is sturdy, works well and is easy to keep the blade retracted. I don't like the textured surface of the tool, makes it a little uncomfortable to hold, but that could be handy in certain circumstances.
Poor quality

This knife is not made well. The blades do not stay and I couldn't use it. Showed it to two male friends and they couldn't either.
Not an ordinary box cutter

Well made, many features. A little pricey but I like that it's compact, strong.

QuickDraw Dual-Use Utility Knife

This folding utility knife is made to do many jobs in one easy-to-handle, durable design. The extra-long blade is fully retractable, and is accessible whether the knife is open or closed. A safety lock keeps the knife from flipping open when the blade is extended, while a built-in wire stripper and blade snap-off channel rounds out this rugged—and multi-functional—knife.

The Quickdraw XLR is a rugged new take on the folding utility knife. It fits both standard and special XLR retractable blades with added handy functions, too.

Typical utility knives can be one-note. So that’s why we were drawn to this multi-use one. The durable design has quick blade access in both open and closed positions, as well as a recessed wire stripper and a blade snap-off built in.

This knife’s usefulness is enhanced by its safety measures, too. The extra-long blade completely retracts, and a locking mechanism keeps the knife from flipping open or closed when the blade is extended. Plus, you don’t need any tools to change the blade, so it’s easier to ensure you’ve always got a sharp one on-hand.

Whether you’re working on a project or carrying one on camping trips, you’ll find plenty of uses for this well-designed tool. more Their Story
