There was a time when Maker Alak Vasa worked as a trader on Wall Street. Everything was going well, but a sense of purpose was missing. She decided to integrate more elements of the Ayurvedic lifestyle that was a large part of her life growing up. Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that emphasizes balance and simplicity where certain foods are considered important factors to overall health.

Alak had a love for chocolate, so she decided to create a line of chocolates that integrated the Ayurvedic philosophy. Their chocolates are handmade with only cacao and honey. They are then infused with ayurveda foods and pure essential oils, which lends to its unique flavor profile and melt-in-the-mouth texture.
