At-Home Personal Vision Test Device

Stay on top of changes in your eyesight with an at-home vision test—no optometrist appointment needed. The optical tool measures the lens power needed to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, and works with your smartphone to keep track of your eyesight info in its app.

EyeQue

EyeQue Maker John Serri, PhD, couldn’t believe that in the era of smartphones and smartwatches, something as necessary as checking vision wasn’t easier. He also felt that it shouldn’t require an extra trip to the doctor—which is what he needed (but didn’t have time for) to replace his own scratched-up glasses. So John began working on a more convenient way for folks to stay on top of changes in their vision.

His accessible approach is a smartly connected one, too. EyeQue’s vision-checking tools all work with a smartphone and accompanying app to test things like visual acuity (and run a 20/20 vision test in about a minute), near- and farsightedness, astigmatism, and measure pupillary distance, which is needed to order properly-sized eyeglass frames and lens fit.

These tools are a great way to stay connected to changes in eyesight and to make sure your current glasses or contacts are still working for you, too.
