Maker Jan Luik drew inspiration for the Golden Gark 3-in-1 Shovel & Rake Sifter from traditional stable forks, improving their design with updated materials and multi-use functionality. He crafted a lightweight yet strong aluminum handle to lessen repetitive fatigue and chose polycarbonate plastic for the rake head due to the material’s incredible strength. His goal was to use the best materials possible so that it would last season after season.

After testing out his innovative new tool, Jan soon realized how much easier his gardening chores had become. With no moving parts, he was able to easily flip from rake, to shovel, and back to rake, and he could do many of the tasks without having to bend down and strain his back. He knew gardeners around the world would appreciate his handy new tool, so he continued to make them and the 3-in-1 Shovel & Rake Sifter was born.
