Kilner Glass Butter Dish

Love my butter dish - it is very well made and looks great!. Because it is heavy, I would only make one small suggestion next time - maybe some groove or some way to grip the cover. It's awkward to lift off and my grandchildren (and myself included) have to be careful when doing so and the lid has slipped from their hands. Otherwise, I do love my butter dish!!
Nice

My mother was so thrilled to get this as a birthday gift. It is a quality product and brings back the good old days for her. Would definitely recommend.

Very old school looking butter storage. Looks like the 50's and it is kinda cool.

Keep that freshly churned homemade butter safe in a glass dish embossed with the signature Kilner logo. It’s perfect to store your butter in or out of the fridge, with a firm fitting lid to help seal it in.

Kilner

Even if you swear you’re not handy in the kitchen, this homemade butter churner lets you make your own butter in about 10 minutes. It’s as easy as turning the handle.

Kilner has been England’s trusted name for glass since the 1840’s, so they were the right folks to revamp the old-school butter churner.

Theirs follows the original design but with a few modern tweaks. The gears are made from stainless steel to wash easily and avoid rust, while the paddles and lid seal are made from food grade silicone.

All you need is heavy cream and a little effort. When the butter takes shape, you’ll also have buttermilk—a tasty byproduct—to cook and bake with, too.

Once you see how simple it is, you’ll be a churning convert. This 21st century update on the standard churner makes it easy.
