I had to purchase this bracelet because my original mesh cuff was stolen from me a couple years back. I always get compliments on my cuff and I am very happy to have my replacement. Excellent craftsmanship.

With a little guidance to the Grommet site, my husband purchased and gave this bracelet to me for Christmas. It is amazingly lightweight and attracts comments whenever I wear it. Absolutely gorgeous!
Received from hysband as a gift - love it!

I have been admiring these "liquid silver" bracelets for a few years. When this one showed up on the Grommet website I immediately showed it to my husband as a Christmas gift idea for me. Hurray! He took my suggestion, gave it to me for Christmas and I totally love it! I have just one question. Knowing it contains silver should it be stored any special way and, over time, will it tarnish and require cleaning?

Intricately soldered and crafted mesh cuff bracelet by Sergio Gutierrez. Unique diamond pattern fabricated in antique nickel. Snap Closure.

Liquid Metal

It’s hard to believe Sergio Gutierrez’s exquisite jewelry and accessories are crafted from humble ball and chain pieces. Sergio, an engineer by trade, transforms these simple elements into a stunning mesh-like fabric he creates by soldering the tiny pieces together in intricate patterns. His work led him from Colombia, where he was born, to San Francisco, where he got his first big break in a Haight-Ashbury boutique when Betsey Johnson discovered his jewelry. Sergio’s interest in 16th century artifacts, particularly chainmail, has inspired his work.

Today Sergio’s studio, called Liquid Metal, creates gorgeous pieces forged of this luxurious metal mesh that really does feel like it’s melting into your skin. We’ve selected a wide cuff bracelet with a diamond design to feature. The antique silver-colored cuff has a modern, chunky silhouette with a hint of vintage style that makes it a great statement piece whether it’s paired with jeans or a cocktail dress. While it’s meant to be worn tight to the arm, it’s incredibly comfortable due to the flexibility of the mesh. It’s romantic and edgy at the same time, with a personality that will make it one of the go-to pieces in your jewelry box. more Their Story
