I bought this as a gift for a friend; her dog is a big, black lab/chow mix -- lots of hair. He enjoys being brushed no matter what is used, but in less than a minute the LUMO was ready to remove a big clump of black hair. GREAT PRODUCT!
Too Large

I bought a large thinking my Pomeranian had undercoat and fur. Mistake, he’s too little for the large brush. He cried out a yelp.
Nice but too expensive

No question, this is a well-designed and well-made brush. But for a nearly $60 price, it should be life-changing. It is not. This was a risky splurge and I regret paying so dearly.
Cats Love it

I have 2 long hair cats. I bought the grooming brush designed for long hair. The brush does not remove as much hair each stroke as some of the other brushes I have bought, but this is the first brush that my cats love. They usually get mad at me after about a minute, but with brush they will lay there and let me brush them for as long as I want. They just purr up a storm. It makes grooming them so much easier. Definitely the brush they prefer.
Worth it.

Great product. I have a long haired German Shepard that sheds a ton. This brush really gets after it. My dog also loves being brushed.

Self-Cleaning Pet Grooming Brush

choose option

A pet grooming brush that detangles—then de-sheds—in one. Lightweight and easy to grip, the brush is lined with wide combs that tame tangles as well as fine ones that remove shedding hair, all in one motion. There’s no tugging or pulling on your pet’s coat and the ergonomic design makes the job easier on your joints. A simple push-button ejects discarded hair in a snap.

The LUMO comes with expert pedigree. Maker Elizabeth Morrissey has over 30 years of experience in dog-grooming, including owning a dog-kenneling business in Maryland. She was increasingly frustrated with grooming with poorly designed brushes that could only tackle individual tasks. Teaming up with her structural engineer nephew Brian Murrihy and his wife Lucy, Liz and her pack designed a new brush concept that would detangle and de-shed quickly and comfortably.

The result: the LUMO, which enables a full groom in about 15 minutes. Easy to grip, the lightweight and ergonomically curved brush minimizes wrist rotation. Stainless steel comb teeth transition from large to small to gently detangle and then de-shed all of the loose undercoat—without tugging hair. All groomed? Simply pull the ejector button and shed hair releases in a snap. more Their Story
