I had a bit of breast cancer luckily, but I also had a breast reduction on top of it all. So what ensued was irritation to my breast and extreme redness on top of an infection. It was an ordeal. I was telling my cousin about it all and she was a sweet heart to look into what could help me and found the Boob Balm. Thank god she did as it has helped me immensely. I'm on the road to recover and the balm has actually made the redness and irritation almost gone. It is soft and soothing and makes my breast feel comfortable. My cousin has bought me another jar because I'm almost out because I use it everyday! Ive been telling all my doctors so they can recommended it to their other patients. Their very receptive to the recommendation. Thank you to the person who created it and thank you to my cousin who cared enough to help me!More > < Less

Gifted the balm to someone recovering from breast cancer

I haven't used this myself but I gave it to someone who recently underwent both a lumpectomy and breast reduction surgery. The incision sites and edema are bothersome for her and when I saw this balm I had send it to her. She likes it very much and says it helps quite a bit. She doesn't apply it directly to the incisions but the rest of her surrounding tissue is extremely sensitive and this balm is making her feel much better. She told her medical doctor she is using it and didn't get a negative response so that's a good sign. Once the jar is empty I will be sending her more. It's nice to have something like this available to women who have to undergo breast surgery.More > < Less

Know Your Normal

The mission behind NONIKO’s clean beauty products comes from Makers Sephra Regan and Kerri Leslie. Sephra is a breast cancer survivor. Her own early detection and double mastectomy were the inspiration for creating Boob Balm. Originally made to help ease scarring associated with breast cancer, Sephra and Kerri soon realized it also served as a way to help women practice regular breast massage and self exams.

Sephra is also an esthetician, so she knew just what to put into the moisturizing balm that glides on like oil and absorbs like lotion into skin. It’s packed with natural ingredients chosen for their healing properties, as well as those thought to be beneficial to breast health—things like frankincense, chamomile, Argan oil, calendula, and comfrey—that also work to minimize the signs of aging and sun damage on the chest.

Sephra and Kerri’s feel-good mission has lots of meaning. When you know your body better, you can better detect changes, just like Sephra did. And you can feel good about the natural approach they’re taking to help women know their normal.
